Board of Advisors

The NetIP organization has made tremendous strides spanning across almost two decades. We have evolved to include chapters in many North American cities, and have installed a solid governance structure. NetIP chapters have long attracted the best and brightest of the South Asian community  - as members, speakers, sponsors, and most importantly, chapter leaders.

A group of former prominent and well-respected NetIP leaders have recently been selected to come together to assist the current leadership in putting in place an infrastructure for the organization's long-term future. Given the tremendous responsibilities of the current NetIP leadership, both at the national and chapter level, it is important to utilize a fresh, but experienced set of South Asian American professionals to provide strategic direction to the organization.  These individuals can and want to leverage their professional and personal connections in helping to catapult the organization to the next level. This alumni group, many of whom are now in senior executive positions with corporations, universities and organizations across North America, will serve as a Board of Advisors.

This Board of Advisors encompasses former leaders of NetIP who are now respected and recognized South Asian leaders in business, politics, academia, medicine and other fields. These individuals today are well connected with important institutions across the country. They still continue to have a strong attachment to the NetIP organization because of the impact that it has had on their lives. The spirit of NetIP continues to live on in their hearts!

By creating a Board of Advisors, NetIP is creating a role for these prominent alumni of the organization to provide advice to the current leadership and more importantly, to continue to provide quality contacts for sponsors, speakers and partners for our local and national events. In addition, the Board of Advisors will assist NetIP in strengthening its corporate governance, organizational infrastructure and long term sponsorship and institutional development for the future.
