Dispute Resolution

Substantive

Many areas of the legal community within the jurisdiction of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit have active dispute resolution and settlement practices. Such techniques can sometimes afford comprehensive, efficient, or economical solutions for disputes as alternatives to the usual adjudication process. Even when the techniques,
as may be the situation, are not well-suited to solving a particular matter in litigation, awareness of their availability can open new perspectives on options for streamlining an adjudication. In general, this Committee offers a venue to encourage awareness of dispute resolution resources by Association members as well as an opportunity for those members to pursue common interests.
