NOTICE TO "DEACTIVATED" LEGACY ELFUN'S
The mission of the Elfuns is to be an umbrella organization for area GE employees across different local GE businesses as well as other affinity groups, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie, and social and charitable activism, while providing certain benefits unavailable through any other means or organizations.
In 2005, Cincinnati chapter dues were stopped and all Cincinnati Elfuns were placed in the chapter's deactivated state.
In 2009, the Cincinnati chapter was reactivated and members were asked to rejoin by paying their annual dues of $25.00 or remain deactivated.
In 2010, the Cincinnati chapter will finalize its memberships' status as either dropped or active, consistent with the request of the Elfun Global Organization and membership requirements of all other organizations. This will also effectively help clean up the GE Elfun database, which currently contains over 4,000 Cincinnati members in a “mixed” (active, dropped, & deactivated) status.
For those who will be dropped effective 1/1/2010, this letter details the changes that will take place.
