The Utica Elfun Senior Subchapter was formed in 1993 following the sale of the GE Aerospace businesses to Martin Marietta. It was comprised of the then Senior Elfuns numbering about 300+. We were all Senior Elfuns, some just retiring as the sale was completed in March. Schenectady chapter volunteered to help us get organized and has over the years provided us with both guidance and our US bulk mailing services.
For the past 16 years, we have maintained one of the most active and successful chapters anywhere as measured by the many hundreds of volunteer hours donated to a number of Community Service Projects, all successfully completed. Another measure of our Chapter success is our attendance at Member Luncheons and Outings.
The GE Elfuns of Utica is the active GE presence in Utica!
