Happy New Year!! See what Elfun has planned for 2012
GE Works - What's Ahead for GE in 2012
Every year GE's most senior leaders gather in early January to review the accomplishments of the past year and set the
strategy for the year ahead at the Global Leadership Meeting (GLM). For the first time, Jeff Immelt will be hosting an
employee broadcast immediately following this meeting to share the highlights and strategy with all employees.
One of the key strategies for 2012 is clarifying how we position GE and define the company. Employees are central to this
approach. You've likely seen the beginning pieces of this new positioning through the recent advertising campaign in the U.S.
and the launch of the GE Works employee storytelling microsite Click here to view the site.
GE's 300,000 employees are at work every day making things that matter to our customers, partners and communities around the
world. The things you make help businesses do business, power cities and towns, bring people to visit family members safely,
carry vital supplies across countries, or help doctors detect and cure diseases. In fact, you put ideas to work to make life
better.
New Elfun President for 2012 Announced
Joe Gould has agreed to step in as Global Elfun President for 2012. The Global Elfun Board would like to thank Dalric Webb for
an exciting 2011 and his time on the board.
